There's high hopes for one fighter.

Ben Whittaker carried on his unbeaten streak this past weekend as he easily outclassed Khalid Graidia in six rounds.

Despite looking impressive for most parts, Whittaker's performance drew some criticism for repeated instances of showboating that also prompted the referee to issue several warnings.

Whittaker burst onto the scene at the last Olympics when he collected a silver medal following a defeat to Arlen Lopez in the Olympic final.

Now a professional with Boxxer backing him, Ben Shalom, Whittaker’s promoter, has some high praise for the Wolverhampton man.

“We should be very excited when we’ve got Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury coming towards the end of their career, who’s going to be the face of boxing?” asked Shalom when speaking on Talksport

“Who’s going to keep boxing relevant and on the front and back pages? In my opinion, it’ll be Ben Whittaker within the next five years.”
