Ben Shalom is expecting movement on a potential fight between Joshua Buatsi and Anthony Yarde after agreeing his man’s side of the deal.
Buatsi, promoted by Shalom’s Boxxer company, impressed earlier this year when he scored a win over British rival Dan Azeez.
Next up for the Croydon man could be a showdown with another domestic fighter with a Yarde bout long speculated.
The 175lbs battle is one of the biggest fights that can be made in the division and Shalom has provided the latest update on negotiations.
“I think we are sitting down with George [Warren] this week,” said Shalom when speaking to Boxing Scene.
“They are trying to figure out their side and we are ready to go. For Buatsi and us, everything has been agreed upon, and we are ready for the fight.
“We are just waiting on the other side, but I believe it will happen. That is where we stand.”
