Matchroom Boxing confirmed a final addition to the Oct. 31 card on Thursday, with both fighters appearing at the final pre-show press conference.

Ramla Ali's professional boxing debut has been added at the last minute to the October 31 card headlined by Oleksandr Usyk and Dereck Chisora's heavyweight clash at the SSE Arena, Wembley.

Anthony Joshua protege Ali will face Germany's Eva Hubmeyer in a six two-minute round attraction which is set to open the show, pending any further tweaks prior to Saturday.

The bout was finalized on Tuesday, with both Ali and Hubmeyer passing COVID-19 testing and entering the Wembley "bubble" in time to participate in the pre-fight night press conference on Thursday, moderated by Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn.

"On Monday night, I thought I wasn’t gonna compete and I was going to say ‘screw it’ and order a pizza," said the Somalia-born Brit.

"Then on Tuesday, I had an opponent. So I’m glad I stuck with it.

"It’s so amazing to have at least one female bout on every undercard, but on Saturday there are three. It’s not a novelty. Women’s boxing is serious, it’s booming, and I’m so blessed to be part of the experience on Saturday.

"My story did get me through the door and people say ‘does she deserve it?’ but the next step is to prove I’m more than just a story, and I’ll do that with a nice win on Saturday."

This will be Hubmeyer's second professional contest following a debut win over Marion Farkas at Fit and Fight, Euskirchen on July 18. It will be her first overseas assignment, at any level of boxing.

"I’m really happy to be here," she said. "I’m so excited and so proud to be a part of this all. It’s my first fight abroad, I’ve only ever fought in Germany before but it’s great to be here.

"I think it’s still a male-dominated sport but there are more and more women coming through. There are three female fights on this event and the growth will continue, I’m sure."

In addition to Ali vs. Hubmeyer, Amy Timlin (4-0, 0 KOs) and Carly Skelly (3-0, 0 KOs) contest a battle of unbeaten prospects for the vacant Commonwealth super-bantamweight title, while the rescheduled fight for the vacant WBO middleweight strap between London 2012 Olympian Savannah Marshall (8-0, 6 KOs) and former IBO super-welterweight champ Hannah Rankin (9-4, 2 KOs) is one of the featured bouts beneath Usyk-Chisora in the main event.

The entire show airs live on Sky Sports Box Office in the U.K. and on DAZN in the U.S.
