Regis Progais welcomed the idea of future fights with Adrien Broner and Gervonta 'Tank' Davis, and said 'The Problem' would be a tougher fight out of the two because he is naturally bigger.
Prograis is a former WBA 140lbs champion, losing the belt to Josh Taylor in the only defeat of his professional career so far.
The 32-year-old bounced back with a three-round thumping of Juan Heraldez at the Alamodome on Halloween night, the same card that featured 'Tank' stopping Leo Santa Cruz at 130lbs.
Prograis' next fight is set for Apr. 17 against Ivan Redkach on the Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren undercard, but he told The Ak & Barak Show (on DAZN and Sirius XM Fight Nation) that he struggles to find opponents because most of the top names in his weight class do not want to face him.
"I think so," he said when asked if he was being avoided. "I think every fighter knows I’m a dangerous fight.
"Like, it doesn’t matter who it is, from 140 to 147, I think everybody knows I’m a dangerous fight so people are trying to stay away from me as much as possible.
"For me, my objective is of course to just keep winning and keep building my profile. I know I don’t have a high profile like some of those top fighters. So now I just gotta build my profile and keep looking spectacular so I could get those big fights."
The Redkach fight was at one point reported to be a clash with Mexico's Mario Barrios, however recent reports suggest Barrios will face Tank next instead.
"As far as the whole Tank thing goes, I was supposed to fight Mario Barrios next," continued Prograis. "Then they’re telling me he’s gonna go up to 147. Now all of a sudden he’s gonna fight Tank next. It is what it is, but I’ve got my own path."
Another big name fight linked with the New Orleans fighter is Adrien Broner, who recently returned to action after a long absence and several brushes with the law to unconvincingly beat Jovanie Santiago and struggle to settle back at 140 in the process.
"I know most of these guys can’t touch me," said Progais. "Like, Adrien Broner, I know I beat him, easily. It’d be a shut-out.
"I think Broner would be a tougher fight than Tank. Just size-wise, because Tank has skill and he hits hard but when you come up to a bigger weight class… someone like myself, for instance, I’m big and strong at 140.
"Tank hits hard at 130, 135, but he’s naturally smaller. Broner is naturally the bigger fighter so I think Adrien would be tougher but I would still whoop both of them.
"And of course if I fought Tank at 140, I’d get no credit for that. And Barrios, he’s nothing. He’s tall, he’s big, but he has no skill. He’s just a tall, durable Mexican, basically.
"So I think Tank should be able to beat Barrios, but if I fight Tank and beat him, people would be like: ‘you’re supposed to do that’.
"I won’t call it a ‘lose-lose’ situation because if I face him, of course I’ll beat him and get paid and all that, but I definitely don’t think I’d get the credit I deserve."
