Liam Davies enhanced his reputation at super-bantamweight earlier this month with a win over Erik Robles and now he believes he’s ready for bigger tests.
Davies has made it clear he’d relish the opportunity to test himself against Naoya Inoue, but he’s also looking at the upcoming Matchroom vs. Queensberry card.
This summer, the promotional powerhouses will go at it in a fascinating 5 vs. 5 clash that is scheduled to take place in June.
Details regarding the weights and fighters are set to be released next month and Davies has made it clear he’s ready to represents the company he fights for.
“I want big fights only now,” said Davies when speaking to Queensberry’s YouTube channel.
“I’m the best super bantam on these shores and hopefully I can get some big fights from this win now. If not, I can go to Saudi [Arabia], and I will smash anyone from Matchroom.”
