Ryan Garcia has compared Tyson Fury with Rolly Romero, in one particular way.
The American was talking to DAZN ahead of his comeback fight this weekend against Oscar Duarte, after he lost to Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis earlier in the year.
Romero and Garcia both operate at super lightweight, and Romero became WBA world champion with a win over Ismael Barroso.
Fury, however, is at the other end of the scales and weighs roughly twice as much as super lightweight fighters when they are all match fit.
He suggested that Romero and Fury, though, have one thing in common: the gift of the gab.
Both Romero and the WBC heavyweight champ are known for antagonising their rivals, and Garcia said: “That would have to be Tyson Fury, one of the best at talking trash, always entertaining. Or Rolando Romero, he’s also good.”
