Ryan Garcia has seemingly identified his next opponent after aiming a tweet at Rolly Romero.
The Californian star, one of the most popular fighters in boxing, endured the first defeat of his career back in April when he was halted by a Gervonta Davis body shot, but it appears that he’s ready to make a comeback with Romero the target.
Earlier this month, Romero captured the WBA title at 140lbs with a controversial stoppage against Ismael Barroso.
The referee’s intervention looked premature and it’s possible that an immediate rematch could be called, but if Romero is allowed to look elsewhere then Garcia is a willing opponent according to his social media account.
“Okay Rollies, you asked for it,” wrote Garcia on his official Twitter account
“Let’s get it. This one is for Barroso”
