Ryan Garcia is confident he can overcome Gervonta Davis if the pair were to meet for a second time.
The first fight between Garcia and Davis, which took place in Las Vegas on April 22, saw the 24-year-old knocked down in the second round before being stopped by a thumping Davis body shot in the seventh.
While this was Garcia's first loss as a professional, at his age, there is still plenty to achieve and one of his goals will be surely to get revenge on Davis at some point in the future.
Speaking to TMZ, Garcia was upbeat and is confident a second fight with Davis can be made.
“I’m good, yeah. Life’s good. Make changes, come back stronger and rack up some wins," Garcia said.
"Hopefully down the line, at the right time, get the rematch.”
Garcia is expected to campaign at super lightweight for the foreseeable future, but the young American will have a new trainer in the corner following the departure of Joe Goosen.
