Stevenson fights this weekend.

Shakur Stevenson is already taunting Vasiliy Lomachenko despite having a different fight lined up this weekend.

The Newark man will defend his world lightweight title against Germany’s Artem Harutyunyan, and victory could lead to a showdown with the legendary Ukrainian later in the year.

Back in May, Lomachenko became world champion again when he travelled to Australia to stop George Kambosos in the fight’s latter stages.

Lomachenko has faced many stern challenges in his career, but that hasn't stopped Stevenson from accusing him of being scared to face him.

“Lomachenko looked good [against Kambosos], but I still think he’s scared to fight me,” said Stevenson when speaking to Fight Hub

“Stop being scared, Lomachenko. I’m going to call you duck-Chenko or scary-Chenko until you fight me, champ.”
