Shakur Stevenson reveals why he will no longer attend Gervonta 'Tank' Davis fightsDAZN

Shakur Stevenson revealed that he will no longer be attending any more Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis fights.

Davis’ last fight came against Hector Luis Garcia two weekends ago and the main event had to be suspended due to crowd trouble.

Stevenson was appearing on the DAZN Boxing Show to discuss his plans at lightweight, with both fighters having mentioned one another in the past as potential future rivals.

For now, the former unified super featherweight champion is still searching for his first bout in his new division, while Tank is expected to meet Ryan Garcia in April at super lightweight.

The unbeaten 25-year-old told DAZN that he would not be going to watch Tank in person again because of perceived arrogance on the part of the older fighter.

“No, I ain't going to any more Tank fights,” he began. “He be feeling himself, he be feeling himself too much.”

Given time to explain himself further, he suggested that Tank’s description of the dealings between the two men were not, in his opinion, correct.

“He tried to make it seem like that but it ain’t happen like that,” he added.

“It ain’t personal, none of this is personal, this is business. Waiting for the time to happen.”
