Shane Mosley was once one of boxing’s best fighters as he ripped through the lightweight division in an impressive manner.
After jumping up in weight to take on Oscar De La Hoya in 2000, Mosley became world champion at 147lbs before embarking on a collection of huge fights against some of the sport’s biggest names.
Obtaining more glory at super-welterweight, Mosley would continue to be one of boxing’s biggest attractions with wins and losses coming against some high-profile fighters.
The California fighter would eventually go onto lose mega battles with Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and Canelo Alvarez, but who was the hardest puncher that Mosley faced?
The answer he provided was Vernon Forrest, who dropped Mosley before outpointing him in 2002.
“I’m not sure why; maybe it was just natural. He just hit the hardest,” said Mosley when speaking to The Ring on what opponent had the most power.
