Showtime Boxing is returning to action with a schedule of nine events through the middle of September.

Showtime Boxing on Thursday announced its schedule for the next five months with nine fights on the docket.

It begins on May 15 with a tripleheader, headlined by a battle of the unbeatens as Luis Nery defends the WBC super bantamweight title against Brandon Figueroa. It ends on September 11 when WBO super bantamweight titlist Stephen Fulton Jr. takes on the winner of Nery and Figueroa. All the fights will have fans inside the venues but following COVID-19 protocols.

The highlights of Showtime Boxing's 2021 schedule includes a pay-per-view event.

In the lone PPV offering, on June 26, one of boxing's youngest stars, Gervonta Davis, moves to up to 140 to take on Mario Barrios for the WBA (Regular) junior welterweight championship.

The week before Davis, on June 19, Jermall Charlo puts the WBC middleweight title on the line against Juan Macias Montiel. Then on July 17, his brother Jermell squares off with Brian Castano, with the winner becoming the undisputed junior middleweight champion.

"High-impact, meaningful fights amongst many of the biggest names and brightest stars in combat sports. That is what Showtime promises, and that is what we are delivering," said Stephen Espinoza, President, Showtime Sports. "With an opportunity to crown an undisputed world champion at 154 pounds, a highly anticipated super bantamweight title unification, a stacked pay-per-view showdown, and more than a dozen fights between 118-168 pounds, Showtime is presenting boxing's best young fighters, all daring to be great by putting their world titles and undefeated records on the line.

"This schedule's caliber and volume – the deepest and most consistent of any network or platform – exemplifies our commitment to the sport. Between this incredible lineup of boxing events and our new partnership with Bellator MMA, with a live event nearly every week, there is no better value proposition in combat sports."
