'Soon we will unveil everything' - Oleksandr Usyk's promoter expects Anthony Joshua rematchMatchroom Boxing
The pair are set to meet in early 2022 but no date or location has been confirmed.

Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are continuing their talks over their rematch, according to the Ukrainian champion’s promoter.

In the days after his September defeat to the new heavyweight champion, Joshua exercised his rematch clause in order to set up an opportunity to win back his IBF, WBA and WBO belts.

However a date and venue has yet to be decided, with Ukraine, Britain and the Far East mooted as potential locations.

The fight is expected for April but the longer the date takes to be agreed, the harder it will be to avoid further delays.

"Many things are happening at the moment," Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk said to Sky Sports.

"Soon we will unveil everything."

There had been speculation that Joshua would entertain step-aside money to allow and undisputed clash between Usyk and Tyson Fury, but it appears that the WBC champion will now finally make a mandatory defence against interim champion Dillian Whyte, though details are yet to be confirmed.
