Sunny Edwards fights for the first time in 2023 when he takes on Andres Campos live on DAZN on Saturday.

The 27-year-old flyweight has won championships at heavier weights to his name and will defend his IBF flyweight strap this weekend.

He will take on challenger Andres Campos at Wembley Arena.

What is Sunny Edwards' professional record? 

Sunny Edwards boasts a 19-0 professional record with four of those wins coming by way of knockout. 

Championships

At 27, Edwards has so far added one belt after another.

Edwards' first taste of success came in November 2017, when he beat Ross Murray in London for the vacant WBO European super flyweight belt.

In 2018 he followed that up with the WBO International super flyweight belt up against Junior Granados.

In 2019, he took on Hiram Gallaordos to win the vacant IBF International super flyweight championship, and later that year defeated Rosendo Guarneros to add the vacant WBO Inter-Continental and IBF International flyweight straps.

Back at superflyweight in 2019 he defeated Marcel Braithwaite to claim the vacant BBBofC British super flyweight championship in Hackney Wick.

Then in 2021, he beat Moruti Mthalane at York Hall in London to secure the IBF world flyweight belt.

Biggest wins

Sunny Edwards defeats Moruti Mthalane to win IBF flyweight inter-belt, in London; April 30, 2021

Edwards took on the reigning IBF flyweight champion Moruthi Mthalane at the end of April 2021, with his opponent defending not just the belt but a sixteen-fight winning run.

That came to an end when Edwards won clearly on a unanimous decision, 118–111, 120–108, 215–113.
