Callum Simpson wants to win the Lonsdale belt at super middleweight after winning the British and Commonwealth championships on Saturday night.
Simpson fought at his hometown of Barnsley at Oakwell Stadium, and won with a 118-111, 118-110, 117-111 scoreline to reflect a dominant performance.
To win the Lonsdale belt, four successful championship fights are needed, with at least one against a mandatory performance.
Such a feat is rare in British boxing, but speaking to Sky Sports after his victory, Simpson said he was focused on the goal.
"It was amazing. The main thing for me was to not let the occasion get to me," he said. "I made a lot of mistakes, but a win is a win.
"I'm nowhere near the finished article, but we're well on our way.
"I want to prove I'm the best in this division. I want to win the British title outright.
"Once I've cleaned up domestically, then we'll push on."
