Team GB star Caroline Dubois admits she is more nervous when her brother Daniel fightsDAZN
The 20-year-old star had to qualify for the games on the same night that Daniel Dubois defeated Bogdan Dinu.

Team GB's Caroline Dubois arrives in Tokyo with serious intentions of picking up an Olympic medal, as she bids to become the latest in her family to become a star in the sport.

The younger sister of WBA interim heavyweight champion Daniel, the 20-year-old qualified for the delayed Games at the European Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament in June, earning a silver medal after a split decision defeat to Team Ireland's Katie Harrington in the final.

But the young fighter was not the only Dubois sibling in action that night, as Daniel aimed to resurrect his career after losing his British, Commonwealth, WBC Silver and WBO International heavyweight titles to Joe Joyce last November.

Usually one of her brother's closest supporters, Caroline told Sky Sports that she struggled to focus on her own personal targets that evening.

"I was feeling bad because my brother was boxing but normally I am there giving all my focus and attention to him. I definitely did not like it, because you've got to focus on yourself.

"I had to be a bit more selfish, totally forget about it and I didn’t like that side. It was stressful.

"I am more nervous when he gets in the ring. There are so many big blows being thrown around and one of them is going to land. It's horrible."

Thankfully for Caroline, Daniel returned to winnings ways with an emphatic second-round KO of Bogdan Dinu.

As for herself, she can now give her full attention to the Games, knowing that a good run to the final could see her follow in the footsteps of the likes of Nicola Adams.
