The two are champions at super lightweight.

Teofimo Lopez is not worried about fighting Devin Haney for another belt, but to add to his legacy.

Both Lopez and Haney held four belts at lightweight but never managed to meet in the ring, but they have since established themselves as champions at 140lbs over the last year.

Lopez fights tonight in defence of his WBO title against Jamaine Ortiz (live on ESPN+ in the US), while Haney is yet to make his first defence of the WBC strap.

The WBO champ is less bothered by a unification clash, but wants to prove himself against one of his peers.

"Whether they like it, whether they don't, that is none of my concern. You look at the rankings, the No. 1 fighter is Teofimo Lopez in the junior-welterweight division," Lopez told Sky Sports.

"Maybe we [him and Haney] will do a unification bout. That's up to them on their side.

"For myself, it's about legacy."
