Three scenarios for Errol Spence Jr. if successful against Terence Crawford

Three scenarios for Errol Spence Jr. if successful against Terence CrawfordDAZN

Everything points to Saturday night in Las Vegas, where Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford will vie for the undisputed welterweight championship of the world.

If "The Truth" finds a way to defeat Crawford, he'll prove that he's the "Big Fish" of boxing and other enticing opportunities will await the southpaw.

That being said, DAZN looks at three possible scenarios that could await Spence if he's crowned the undisputed welterweight world champ with a victory over Crawford.

A rematch with Crawford

A rematch clause is part of the equation, meaning if Spence defeats Crawford and "Bud" activates the clause, the two will find themselves on the road to yet another collision course.

If this weekend's bout is contested as closely as its 50-50 fight billing suggests, just imagine how big a rematch would be?

Not only would it back up the Brinks truck for Spence and Crawford for a second time, but these two greats would have another opportunity to put the boxing world on their backs.

Point blank — if Spence-Crawford dazzles this weekend, "The Truth" is Spence vs. Crawford 2 should be another smash hit.

Challenging Canelo

The thought of Errol Spence Jr. moving up in weight to challenge Canelo has been omnipresent through the years to the point that the unified welterweight world champion even took the time out to acknowledge the idea while promoting the Crawford fight.

While Spence conceded to FightHype.com that it's all "speculation,"  he also acknowleged that him taking on Canelo is something that could happen sometime in the near future.

Consider this, too: If Canelo has his way with a Jermell Charlo, who's moving up two weight classes, on September 30, it would set up the possible stage for Spence trying to avenge his stablemate.

And what better host than AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, as a possible venue? Both Spence and Canelo have experience fighting there and it seems like a logical destination.

Talk about a big-money fight, this would be it.

Taking on Jaron Ennis

Jaron "Boots" Ennis has gone from being on Crawford's and Spence's radars to knocking down their front doors. The 26-year-old Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) simply cannot be denied as he seems on the brink of a world title shot as the current IBF interim welterweight champion.

If Spence wins Saturday night, and for whatever reason a rematch with Crawford doesn't happen, a bout with Ennis would be all the goods that boxing has to offer.
