The Australian came into the match on the Gold Coast having recovered from a dog bite on his arm that required 26 stitches a little over three weeks ago.
The 28-year-old is the WBO interim champion at super welterweight and was making his first title defence, and he needed scarcely more than a minute to get the job done.
The fight was over in 72 seconds as he landed 13 headshots from his first 36 punches, and he wants to move onto Jermell Charlo in his attempt to become undisputed at 154lbs.
The target is to set up a fight in Las Vegas before September 30, as the mandatory challenger.
The fight came to an end when Ocampo was rocked with a right jab, attempted to stay in the fight, and ended up taking a flurry of blows that left him defeated, on the canvas.

âThereâs no doubt Iâm going to America, thatâs the land I want to conquer,â Tszyu said after the fight. âIâm not satisfied with his interim belt - I want all four and I want the name Charlo on my resume. Letâs dance in October.
âI copped a lot of different adversities, so [this fight] was about getting the job done. I didnât think it would be that early because this guy is a warrior. I am coming back with four belts.â
