The light heavyweight gets the nod after missing out on Jake Paul last year due to injury and illness.

Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy is set to fight on the card of the WBC champion’s title fight with Dillian Whyte.

Whyte is the mandatory challenger for Fury, and after years of waiting for a chance he is now set to take on the title holder on April 23rd at Wembley.

There has been little detail on what would make up the undercard for the event but details have begun to be announced as the fight approaches.

Tommy Fury has a record of 7-0 with 4 KOs, and had expected to fight Jake Paul towards the end of last year. However he suffered a broken rib and a bacterial chest infection, which forced him to pull out at relatively late notice. Instead, Tyron Woodley stepped in as a late replacement and was duly knocked out by the YouTuber and boxing promoter.

Fury will now face fellow light heavyweight, Poland’s Daniel Bocianski.

"I am delighted that Tommy Fury will get to share some of the spotlight with his big brother after missing out on his big fight last year through illness," promoter Frank Warren said, reported Sky Sports.

"If Tommy keeps on winning and continues to shine, his big opportunities will soon follow.”

Fury reportedly still hopes to set up a clash with Paul, as the American touts a return to action in August following the completion of Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano, shown live on DAZN on April 30th.
