Tony Bellew believes that Chris Eubank Jr should look to take a third fight with Liam Smith to settle their series.
Eubank Jr returns to action on October 12 when he appears on the huge Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol show to face Poland’s Kamil Szeremeta.
In recent weeks, Eubank Jr has been linked to several fights including showdowns against Canelo Alvarez and Ben Whittaker.
The Brighton fighter traded wins with Smith last year, and Bellew believes a trilogy meeting would be a fitting way to close the rivalry.
“Why won’t he have the third and settle and fight with Liam Smith?” asked Bellew when speaking to Instant Casino.
“Because it’s quite clear to see that Liam Smith wasn’t right in that rematch and I think he should entertain the third fight just to put it to bed.”
