Tyson Fury announces Deontay Wilder trilogy fight for July 24, says he'll fight Anthony Joshua later in 2021DAZN
The WBC heavyweight champ dropped the news Saturday night.

Tyson Fury appeared on the Josh Taylor-Jose Ramirez broadcast to share some big news.

The WBC heavyweight champion says his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder is tentatively official for July 24 in Las Vegas, adding that he vows to destroy "The Bronze Bomber" even more emphatically than he did when he flattened him via seventh-round TKO in February 2020.

"This guy is a glutton for punishment," Fury said of Wilder. "He's an idiot.

"He's absolutely crazy," Fury continued moments later, "or a sucker for punishment."

Fury made the comments after he signed the contract for the trilogy fight on the air.

"Should we do it and put him out of his misery," Fury said before signing the paperwork, "and seriously smash him to bits?"

Fury added that he's aiming to fight unified world heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua later in 2021.

Of course, everyone was looking forward to that undisputed heavyweight championship fight between Fury and Joshua, but that got sidelined earlier in the week, when an arbitrator ruled that Wilder was entitled to a rematch against Fury.
