WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed that negotiations for a potential super-fight with Anthony Joshua are still ongoing despite claims earlier in the week that the fight was off after his deadline for Joshua to sign the contract had passed.
A date of December 3 has been the frontrunner with Cardiff's Principality Stadium being the venue, and in a recent post on social media, Fury has said his promoter Frank Warren convinced him to extend the deadline.
For Joshua, this opportunity to face Fury following two back-to-back losses to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is a chance for the former Olympian to return to the heavyweight division's top table and become a three-time world heavyweight champion.
