Tyson Fury denied speculation that he was considering a comeback to the ring.
Fury last fought in April when he secured a sixth-round knockout against his WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.
The unbeaten champion said after the fight that he thought he would not fight as a professional again, but hinted that a money-spinning exhibition fight with Francis Ngannou could get him to compete.
There have been no calls from the WBC for him to fight another mandatory, or to make a final decision on retirement, with president Mauricio Sulaiman saying this week that he would like to see Fury back fighting if there was a chance to become undisputed - presumably against one of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, who are expected to fight this July in their rematch.
On Instagram, Tyson’s father John Fury posted a video of his son shadow boxing with the tagline: “He won’t be getting beat for a long time this man.”
Some took that to mean he would line up another bout in due course, but on his own account, the young Fury wrote: “Yes training daily, but just to keep my weight down and for my mental health.”
“Back on the road again this morning,” Fury added. “Monday morning, look at that. Get up Morecambe Bay, back from France, back to where I belong, the good old Morecambe Bay.”
