Tyson Fury has said Jake Paul couldn’t beat Tommy Fury even if he was armed with a hammer in both hands.

The WBC heavyweight champion is in Saudi Arabia to support his brother, and speaking to Seconds Out, he genuflected at the occasion.

“It couldn’t get any better for Tommy could it?” he asked.

“For sure, 100%, he’s getting a big fight for big money, it is probably a bigger event than it would be for the undisputed light heavyweight championship of the world. Probably more money as well, fantastic for both guys.

“I’ve made a hell of a lot of money out of boxing, let everyone else have theirs.

“It’s fantastic out here, it’s like being in Las Vegas. Everyone’s out in force, all the big stars, the boxers. It’s a massive event.”

He then predicted Tommy would be the dominant fighter.

He continued: “Tommy’s gotta do what he’s gotta do, if he loses to Jake Paul - I don’t think he will, I think he knocks out Jake Paul seven days a week, 45 times on a Sunday - if he loses he’s finished with the boxing, but he’s getting paid well enough, so he’s being compensated for the risk.

“I can’t see it, I don’t think even if Jake Paul had a hammer in both hands he’d beat Tommy anyway.”

After being in Fury Sr.’s entourage for years, Tyson believes that his younger brother will not be overawed by the occasion.

He explained: “He’s been around the big stuff a long time with me, big time boxing Vegas, all over the world he’s no newbie to big events, lights, camera, action. He seems as cool as a cucumber. He’s bang on weight, he’s got one pound to go.

“I was in the gym with him, he’s looking strong and fit. We’re all going to cash out, make a lot of money, because Tommy’s the underdog in the betting so we’ve all got a lump on him and I’m sure we’re going to collect on Monday.

“It’s good because you can make a few quid, easy money, tax-free.

“I didn’t used to get nervous when I boxed myself, but it is tough watching the lads fight, when you know it’s out of the control of yourself. They’ve done all they can, they’re in the gym, training away. Best man will win on the night, there’s no harm in losing.

“I think Jake Paul and his brother have done really well out of it, made millions of dollars. Getting paid and getting laid, getting out of it in one piece. If it’s about anything more, I don’t know. Anyone who said these guys are not good at what they do, they’re jealous aren’t they?”
