Tyson Fury is one of the biggest names in boxing right now and has experienced a meteoric rise to a stage where many consider him the best heavyweight on the planet.
Before facing unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, Fury was a fighter who failed to capture the imagination of boxing fans, but his upset win over the Ukrainian catapulted him into the mainstream.
However, what followed was a long personal battle with mental health which kept Fury away from the ring for three years. Once fit and healthy to fight again, it was not long until the Brit found himself challenging for a world title when he faced WBC champion Deontay Wilder in the first of three thrilling meetings.
Fury would go onto win two of these three contests, and now he is on a collision course to face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title in the not so distant future.

What titles has Tyson Fury held?
Tyson Fury won his first major titles on November 28, 2015 when he beat Wladimir Klitschko to claim the IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles. Fury then vacated these belts due to personal issues.
Fury's second world title triumph came on February 22, 2020 when he beat Deontay Wilder to become the WBC world heavyweight champion. Since that fight, Fury has made three successful defences of the belt.

When Tyson Fury arrived in Dusseldorf, many fans and experts did not give him much of a chance against Wladimir Klistchko who held three world title belts and dominated the heavyweight division.
What transpired was a masterclass from Fury. Following a number of mind games in the build-up to the contest, Fury established his jab and kept Klitschko inside his shell.
The Ukrainian managed to land only one punch of note throughout the 12 rounds, a right hand in the fifth which Fury took well.
As the fight wore on, Klitschko showed signs of fatigue as Fury toyed with the defending champion and come the final bell, there was a new champion with Fury declared the winner on the judges' scorecards.
Tyson Fury rises off the canvas in thrilling Deontay Wilder draw; December 1, 2018
Just six months after making his comeback, Tyson Fury was thrown into a baptism of fire against the hard-hitting WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
With only two fights against lesser opposition under his belt, many feared that Fury could be humiliated by the American, but like the Klitshcko encounter, Fury defied his critics and boxed out of his skin.
His movement and counter-punching was causing problems for the "Bronze Bomber", but he landed a trademark blow in the ninth which knocked down Fury, but the Brit got up and continued.
What transpired three rounds later was a moment boxing fans would never forget.
Wilder once again landed a brutal right hand and this time Fury was sprawled on the canvas looking down out with the referee beginning his 10 count. As the count was coming to a close, Fury had a spurt of life, rose to his feet and survived to the shock of Wilder and fans inside the Staples Center.
The contest was ruled a draw after the final bell and it would mark the start of what was a hard-hitting trilogy.

After beating Deontay Wilder in a second meeting in 2020, Tyson Fury was the new WBC world heavyweight champion and he was hoping this would be the last time he would have to face the American.
However, a court of arbitration ruled that Wilder was entitled to a third fight and so on October 9, 2021, the pair met for a third time.
This fight had everything for a heavyweight contest. Wilder was the first to hit the floor in the third, but he came roaring back with and produced two knockdowns of his own in the fourth.
Fury once again rose and what transpired was a slugfest as both exchanged swinging blows for the rest of the fight.
The WBC champion then got the upper hand in the tenth as he knocked down Wilder before landing the final blow in eleventh to get the win and bring this enthralling heavyweight rivalry to a close.
