The former UFC star makes his professional boxing debut later this month.

Matchroom's Eddie Hearn has sent a warning to Francis Ngannou ahead of his clash with the WBC world heavyweight champion next weekend.

The pair will meet in Saudi Arabia on October 28 (live on DAZN PPV in a number of regions), but it's a fight where Fury is a huge favourite to get the win.

This is largely due to the fact that this upcoming clash with Fury is Ngannou's professional boxing debut and many fans have not been too impressed with the videos emerging from the former UFC star's training camp.

Speaking to Boxing Social, Hearn believes Fury will choose when to end the fight whether it be early on or in the latter stages when Ngannou is showing signs of tiredness.

“Whatever Tyson wants to do. If it’s fought at any kind of pace, I don’t feel like Francis Ngannou can physically do more than four, five rounds," Hearn said.

"I don’t mean that disrespectfully. They’re not used to that kind of fighting. I know MMA is still high intensity, but trust me, you’ll see.

"Fury may play with him and just hold him up. If Fury wants to, he’ll stop him in the first round, no problem. If not, he’ll school him, get him to gas out and stop him on his feet.”

Ngannou made a name for himself in the UFC through his striking, but while the Cameroonian certainly has some impressive punching power, Hearn is not convinced that any shot landed by Ngannou will cause Fury problems.

“He can’t win a round. He can’t hurt him. He could actually put his chin out and let Ngannou hit him clean and it wouldn’t bother him, honestly. They’re not strikers like boxers," Hearn concluded.
