Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou: John Fury offers to fight Mike Tyson if son losesTop Rank

John Fury hasn't met a microphone he hasn't liked, and on Thursday the quotable father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was at it again.

The elder Fury has been a fixture in the build-up to his son's crossover fight against MMA star Francis Ngannou, who is making his professional boxing debut in Saturday's contest.

Ngannou has enlisted the help of Mike Tyson, whom his opponent is named after, to prepare him for the monumental task of facing the undefeated champion in his first bout.

The fact that "Iron Mike" has worked as Ngannou's trainer has been a topic of conversation this week, and at Thursday's press conference John Fury was presented the opportunity to address the former undisputed heavyweight champion — which he did in true John Fury fashion.

"I tell you, my brother. The world is gonna see what's going to happen to your man," he said. "Your man will get his head boxed off and stopped at will."

Fury didn't stop at just offering a prediction though, telling Tyson, "if I'm wrong, me and you will fight straight after!"

While it was apparent that both Fury and Tyson were having a good time bantering with one another on stage, Fury couldn't resist getting the last word in.

"I'm not saying I can beat this great man," Fury said as he gestured towards Tyson. "I'm not saying I can beat you, Mike. But I'll fight you to the best I can, pal."
