Carl Froch has once again hit out at John Fury but this time he thinks the former fighter has cost Tyson Fury his world title.
Fury was hurt badly in the ninth round before losing via split decision and Froch has had his say on the fight.
In the fight’s crucial stages, Fury Sr was very vocal in the corner as he was giving his son advice when SugarHill Steward was speaking.
Steward is Fury’s official trainer, but Froch believes that the conduct of the elder Fury had a disastrous impact on the result.
"John Fury interfering in Tyson's corner could have been the difference between winning and losing,” said Froch when speaking to Lord Ping.
“His coach SugarHill knows everything about the game, he was trying to give him instructions. How can Tyson focus on SugarHill and take on those instructions when he's got John Fury shouting down his ear and talking s—t to him through the ropes, it's impossible.
“You can't listen to two people at once. That could have been the difference between winning and losing in a close fight, that interference in the corner could have cost Tyson the fight.”
