Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will meet next year.

John Fury believes whoever has the best camp out of his son, Tyson, and Oleksandr Usyk, will emerge victorious when they collide next year.

Fury and Usyk have finally agreed to a huge showdown in Saudi Arabia on February 17 and the winner will be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Heading into the contest, Fury’s form is a major concern due to his dismal showing against boxing novice, Francis Ngannou, in October.

Fury was dropped before labouring to an unimpressive points win and some within the sport believe that the WBC champion could be approaching the final stages of his illustrious career.

His father hasn’t pulled any punches when discussing the fight’s outcome.

“I’m going to say it first. Whoever puts the best camp in and does the work will get it and deserve it,” said Fury Sr when speaking to the Daily Mail.

“If Usyk puts a better camp in that Tyson, he works his a-- off, he gets everything right, the better man will win.

“It’s up to both guys what they want out of this. Tyson knows he needs a 180-degree turnaround. If he’s not prepared to do that, good luck to Usyk.”
