Tyson Fury hopes for a fight between Daniel Dubois and Dillian Whyte.
Whyte last fought at the end of April when he suffered a sixth-round uppercut knockout to defending WBC champion Fury, at Wembley Stadium.
There were suggestions that Whyte might step away from the sport after a comprehensive defeat, but he appears confident to remain in boxing.
Speaking on Queensberry Promotions, Fury thinks Whyte should consider fighting WBA 'regular' champion Dubois, who recently defeated Trevor Bryan for the title.
“If I’m Dillian Whyte, I’m excited to take that fight,” Fury said.
“You’re coming off a loss to the best fighter that’s ever lived. You’ve got to redeem yourself. What better way to do it than against a younger guy, a world champion and everyone’s going to watch it.
“It’s a great fight and I definitely expect Dillian Whyte to take it and Daniel Dubois to take it. It’s a great fight for British boxing, I for one would buy a pay-per-view to watch it for sure.”
Fury was not sure who would emerge as the winner from the all-Britain contest however.
“To be honest with you, Dillian Whyte’s very experienced,” he admitted. “When he was in there with me, I made it look like he couldn’t fight. But do not underestimate Dillian Whyte. When you get two big dinosaurs who’ll knock the lumps off each other the way they would, someone’s going to get knocked out. That’s an exciting fight.
Joking in reference to Whyte’s media blackout ahead of their own title fight, Fury suggested: “We have to put in [Whyte’s] contract, though, he has to turn up for media and stuff.”
