UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has left the door open for a possible venture into professional boxing.
Aspinall is preparing to defend his title at UFC 304 on July 27 against Curtis Blaydes in his home city of Manchester, and a successful title defence against the American is likely to put the British star in a position to challenge Jon Jones for the full title.
If Aspinall manages to achieve everything in the world of MMA, he has teased the possibility of pursuing a career as a heavyweight boxer with MMA fighters making the transition to the sweet science becoming even more common.
"Maybe one day, I am not going to count it out right now," Aspinall told Prime Casino when asked about a future career in boxing.
"At the minute, I have got some massive moves to make in the UFC.
"So if all goes to plan, why not? Right now, that is definitely not my focus."
Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are the latest UFC stars to make the switch to boxing with the pair meeting this weekend in a fight which will be broadcast live on DAZN.
