Unbeaten lightweight Floyd Schofield is eager to face boxing superstar Ryan Garcia.
Garcia is one of the sport's biggest names due to the huge following he has amassed on social media and last year saw him feature in the biggest fight of his career so far against Gervonta Davis.
While Garcia was knocked out by Davis in the seventh round back in April, the former's stock has not taken a huge hit as he is still linked with a number of huge fights.
After a win over Oscar Duarte Jurado in December, it was looking like Garcia would face WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney, but these negotiations seem to have stalled.
Now Schofield has expressed his interest in facing "King Ry" and he has just one goal on his mind if does get the chance to face the 25-year-old.
“I would love to take that fight to humble him,” Schofield told FightHype.com.
Schofield is unbeaten in his 16 fights as a professional with 12 of those wins coming by way of knockout, his last outing was two months ago when he produced a first round stoppage against Ricardo Lopez Torres.
