Vergil Ortiz is eager to be part of the biggest fights possible and he’s confident a bout with Errol Spence can take place inside a stadium.
Ortiz is set to return to action on August 10 as he looks to maintain his impressive unbeaten record against Serhii Bohachuk.
The fight will take place in Las Vegas and if successful, Ortiz will announce himself at 154lb as he’ll hold the WBC interim title.
Although focused on Bohachuk, Ortiz is already looking forward and he’s eager to test himself against the former welterweight world champion who is linked to a showdown with Sebastian Fundora later this year.
“I think the fight that makes that happen is the Spence fight,” said Ortiz when speaking about potential options with FightHype.
“If he gets through Fundora and he’s healthy, we can run it at Cowboy Stadium.
