One of the biggest pairings of a memorable London 2012 will happen again at professional level, with an undisputed world championship on the line.

The presence of female boxing at the London 2012 Olympics, the first Games to feature the category, was a highlight of a very special fortnight. And very few contests during the tournaments were bigger than Great Britain's Natasha Jonas vs. Ireland's Katie Taylor.

The two produced one of the best bouts all summer at the Docklands ExCeL, but as good as Jonas gave, Taylor was simply incredible. She won the lightweight quarter-final 26-15 on her way to a gold medal, making her one of the first three female boxers to achieve the feat.

Now, almost nine years later, Taylor has helped spearhead the continued growth of the women's professional game as the undefeated and undisputed lightweight champion. However, a superb performance against WBC super-featherweight champion Terri Harper at Matchroom Fight Camp last summer almost earned Jonas a world title of her own and most certainly breathed fresh life into her pro journey.

It always seemed like fate would bring Taylor and Jonas back together between the ropes. Now, it has. The two have a strong chance of stealing the show at the Dereck Chisora vs. Joseph Parker card this weekend.

Here's everything you need to know.
