After several postponements, Jai Opetaia finally gets his shot at the IBF cruiserweight title when he takes on Mairis Briedis tonight.
Undefeated in 21 fights as a professional, Opetaia will be Briedis' toughest test since losing to Oleksandr Usyk in 2018.
The pair were initially set to meet on April 6, but it was canceled after the Latvian champion contracted COVID-19 and the flu.
May 11 was made the new fight date, but this was canceled after Opetaia suffered a rib injury.
Now with hopefully no more hiccups, the two men will finally meet later today.
