Jai Opetaia will make the first defence of the IBF cruiserweight championship when he comes up against Jordan Thomson tonight, live on DAZN (excluding Australia and New Zealand).
Opetaia (22-0 17 KOs) secured the IBF belt when he defeated Mairis Briedis in the summer of last year, which was the most recent time the Australian athlete was in the ring. Now the title is up for grabs again with Thompson (15-0, 12 KOs) in with a chance of winning his first world title.
