When will Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight? Who is the favourite? Who will Tyson Fury fight next? The latest oddsDAZN
All the odds for the key questions for the undisputed heavyweight clash.

It’s the fight that everyone is waiting for. One that Anthony Joshua believes will soon be announced, and one that Tyson Fury believes ‘one million percent’ will go ahead. But Fury has also suggested that if an agreement isn’t reached imminently, then he will move on from the fight just as he did his trilogy rematch with Deontay Wilder.

Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren and Bob Arum all anticipate the match going ahead, and with more than £100 million for each fighter on the line, it seems impossible to think that it won’t go ahead now.

We look at what the bookies think about when and if the fight will be made, and who will be the winner, with odds courtesy of Betfair.

What year will the first Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight happen?

  • 2021 – 1/10
  • 2022 – 6/1
  • Later/Never – 20/1

Unsurprisingly the chances of a fight this year make the eventuality a heavy favourite at 1/10, but at 6/1 is the possibility that the first match-up will take place next year, while there is little belief that a fight won’t eventually materialise.

What month will the first AJ/Fury fight happen?

  • July – 1/3
  • August – 4/1
  • September – 10/1
  • October – 20/1
  • November – 25/1
  • December – 33/1
  • 2022 or later – 11/2

With Eddie Hearn insistent that the first fight on offer is for a July date, and with the deadline closing in, it is unsurprising to see July installed as the favourite at 1/3. That assumes that there isn’t another coronavirus spike in whichever venue is chosen, with there being little choice of a fight going ahead without the chance of maximising ticket sales.

Who will Tyson Fury fight next?

  • Joshua – 1/8
  • Wilder – 6/1
  • Whyte – 10/1
  • Usyk – 16/1
  • Ruiz Jr – 16/1
  • Joyce – 25/1

The match being made is the heavy favourite, given everyone involved expects there to be two fights with the earning potential dwarfing any other fight that can be conceived. That makes Joshua favourite. Beyond that, Wilder is under consideration as the man to beat after that, with the former WBC champion still keen to exercise his rematch clause. Beyond that, there are few obvious contenders who could produce anywhere near as much excitement.

Who will win the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight?

  • Anthony Joshua: 11/8
  • Draw: 22/1
  • Tyson Fury: 4/7
  • Tyson Fury to win by KO/TKO: 11/4
  • Anthony Joshua to win by KO/TKO: 3/1

As for the fight itself, Fury is predicted to win, as odds-on favourite, which reflects consensus amongst most boxing observers that he is the better boxer on the day. But at 11/8, there’s an acknowledgement that Joshua has more than just a puncher’s chance of an upset.
