Who does Regis Prograis want to face next, Teofimo Lopez or Devin Haney?DAZN

WBC world super lightweight champion Regis Prograis has sights set on some of the biggest names in and around his weight division.

The 34-year-old made a successful first defence of his WBC title on Saturday night when he beat Danielito Zorrilla, and while it was not the most glamorous of victories, this has not stopped Prograis from chasing the marquee matchups.

Two names which have been linked with Prograis are newly crowned WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez and undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney, and Prograis revealed to The DAZN Boxing Show who he would rather face and which of the two world champions would be the harder fight.

"Teo [Teofimo Lopez], Teo’s got a belt," Prograis responded when asked who he wants to face out of Lopez and Haney.

The New Orleans fighter then went onto explain why Lopez poses a tougher test compared to the undisputed lightweight champion.

"Teo because he has movement and he still has power," Prograis began.

"Devin has all of that, but Devin doesn’t have the power.

"He is kind of big for that weight, but I don’t see Devin having that type of power. I think he has the power say like a Floyd, the power that you respect, but he doesn’t have that one punch power.

"I’ve never fought Teo, I’ve never been in the ring with him before so I can’t really speak on how hard he hits, but from what it looks like he does have power and he’s fast too."
