Amir Khan has not fought since losing to Kell Brook at the beginning of 2022, but the 2004 Olympic silver medallist is willing to return to the ring to face one man.
After losing to Brook, his longtime nemesis, Khan appears to content in retirement but if a showdown with Jake Paul can be secured, the British fighter would take on the challenge.
Paul is a polarising figure in the fight world but his popularity as a successful YouTuber ensures the American’s events receive widespread exposure.
Paul has been linked to bouts with a number of ex fighters including Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, and now Khan is the latest name to be attached to Paul.
"Jake Paul, he gets on my nerves a little bit," said Khan when speaking to Heart Breakfast .
"I think the way he conducts himself the way he acts and he’s just full of himself as well and he thinks he can fight, he’s only been boxing for like a year, so yeah, I’d love to fight him.
“He’s been very lucky though, he’s a little bit heavier than me but I don’t mind putting the pounds on just to beat him up."
