The DAZN Boxing Show discusses the challenges both fighters face.

The DAZN Boxing Show considered which of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is most at risk in their next fights.

Joshua faces Oleksandr Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight world champion and his WBO mandatory challenger on September 25.

WBC champion Tyson Fury then faces Deontay Wilder in a trilogy rematch on October 9 in Las Vegas.

Should both fighters emerge unscathed they are then expected to again negotiate a bout to decide the title of the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Akin ‘Ak’ Reyes said: “oth of those guys have two major tests in front of them. And actually, that's a very difficult question.

“I lean towards Deontay Wilder being able to upset the applecart and then sometimes I lean towards Usyk being able to accept the applecart, because both of these guys have a legitimate shot at winning these fights.

“When you look at Wilder you talk about one of the hardest hitting heavyweights in history, right? And he's already hurt Fury. We saw it one time.

“Now you flip over to the other fight over here in the UK. Yes, AJ won gold medals as well, but Usyk is a very slick, skilled, decorated amateur. He's a southpaw. He has so many tricks in his bag. And yes, he starts slow, but he ends strong. So for those that think they're just gonna walk through safe, they got another thing coming. I am picking AJ to beat Usyk.

“And I'm actually going towards Wilder, upsetting the applecart. I haven't made a decision just yet. Maybe by fight week in Vegas I'll change my mind. But the question is, if Wilder wins, can we make AJ and Wilder, and we may talk to Wilder later on in a week, and I'm going to ask him myself.”

Barak Bess also believes that Wilder has the biggest chance of pulling off an upset.

“I say it would have to be Wilder who has the biggest chance of messing up those plans,” he said.

“Because I feel like, you know, fighters do different things in preparation, according to the level of threat.

“But what I think is that because of the level of threat in Joshua, we're going to see a better Usyk, we're going to at least see an Usyk prepared better so I can't put 100% of my prediction based on that. He struggled with [Dereck] Chisora. How can he beat Joshua, but always when it’s a bigger level of threat fighters prepare different.”
