Unified welterweight champion Errol Spence is in the final stages of preparation ahead of what will be the biggest fight of his career when he takes on Terence Crawford for the undisputed welterweight title on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
For both men, it's been a fight that has been years in the making and fans will now finally get the chance to see who is the best operator in the welterweight division.
With a fight as big as this, many would expect a training camp to be a place full of tension, but according to Spence's trainer Derrick James, it was the complete opposite when speaking to The DAZN Boxing Show.
"He was more reserved," James said.
"He was watching everybody else do what they were doing."
Unlike some megafights of the past such as Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao, Spence and Crawford are going head-to-head at the peak of their powers which is what makes this contest one fans simply cannot miss, and it's no surprise what James had to say when it came to the difficulty of this matchup with 'Bud'.
"Yeah, no doubt," James responded when asked about whether Crawford was Spence's toughest test.
"This is the toughest matchup on paper."
