Less than six minutes were enough for William Zepeda to put an end to the aspirations of Jaime Arboleda.

The Mexican mercilessly demolished his opponent in the second round, after landing a hook to the liver that began to undermine him, and as soon as he found a way to get his hands in, he took advantage to land hooks to the chin and stomach.

Arboleda, who had started the fight well by taking advantage of his reach and superior stature, ended up succumbing to the punch of Zepeda, who at 26, has a record of 28-0 with 24 KOs.

"I realized that the opponent wanted to mess up the fight, so I finished him... We are ready for whoever wants to fight. We know it's a tough division but hopefully the time will come," said Zepeda after adding another win.

Zepeda was called up to headline the card after Vergil Ortiz was declared unfit to return due to rhabdomyolysis, a disease that causes the breakdown of damaged muscles that is caused by the release of muscle cell contents into the blood and can damage organs.
