The Chinese fighter will be looking to make his third straight defense of the WBA (Regular) featherweight crown on July 31.

The first week of Matchroom Boxing's return of Fight Camp just got splashier.

On Friday, Matchroom announced that it's adding Xu Can vs. Leigh Wood for Can's WBA (Regular) world featherweight championship to its Fight Camp card headlined by Conor Benn vs. Adrian Granados on July 31, live on DAZN.

Ever since Can (18-2, 3 KOs) defeated Jesús Rojas by unanimous decision to become the world featherweight champion in January 2019, he has defended the title twice with wins over Shun Kubo and Manny Robles III in May and November of the same year, respectively.

The 27-year-old Chinese fighter will be facing the 32-year-old Wood (24-2, 14 KOs), who is 1-1 in his last two fights, including a ninth-round TKO of Reece Mould in February.

The second installment of Fight Camp will take place live on DAZN from Matchroom Headquarters in Brentwood, England
