Zhilei Zhang is confident heading into his upcoming battle with Deontay Wilder and he’s insistent that he’ll be Wilder’s last ever opponent.
The hard-hitting pair will clash on June 1, and it doesn't look like there’ll be anywhere for the loser to go, meaning the stakes are incredibly high.
In both their last fights, each man was sensationally beaten by Joseph Parker, but the circumstances of the defeats were slightly contrasting.
Wilder looked uninterested as he lost on points before Zhang managed to drop the New Zealander twice before falling short on the scorecards.
“I will be his last dance partner. I don’t know if he will see the end of the dance, but I will make sure he enjoys it,” said Zhang when speaking to The Stomping Ground.
“Me and Deontay are both big punchers. When Chinese power vs. Alabama power, we’re going to bang the heck out of each other. Don’t blink, everything happens in one punch.”
