What is the current playoff picture in the AFC?

After 18 weeks of fierce football, the NFL regular season is over. All the playoff teams are confirmed. Fourteen clubs will now play for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Here is DAZN's confirmed playoff standings in the AFC.

1 - Baltimore Ravens, 13-4

The Baltimore Ravens are 13-4 and despite losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18, the Ravens have clinched the AFC North title and the AFC's number one seed which means the team will get a week's rest before their first playoff game.

2 - Buffalo Bills, 11-6

Thanks to their 21-14 win against the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills are the AFC East champions. Sean McDermott's team will play as the AFC's second seed. It is a remarkable turnaround from a team that looked lost six weeks ago.

3 - Kansas City Chiefs, 11-6

The Chiefs were crowned AFC West champions with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. Having lost to the Bills earlier this season, the Chiefs are the third seed, behind Buffalo due to that head-to-head tiebreaker.

4 - Houston Texans, 10-7

The Texans are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2019 after beating AFC South rivals the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night.

If the Jacksonville Jaguars fail to beat the Tennessee Titans, the Texans will be crowned champions of the division, while a Jags win would see them take the fourth seed and the Texans landing the number six or seven seed depending on the result of the game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

5 - Cleveland Browns, 11-6

The Browns had locked up the fifth seed in Week 17. Cleveland lost in Week 18, but they did field a weakened team.

6 - Miami Dolphins, 11-6

Losing to the Bills in Week 18 saw Miami miss out on the AFC East title. The Dolphins must now go on the road to Kansas City on Super Wildcard Weekend.

7 - Pittsburgh Steelers, 11-7

The Steelers are in the playoffs.

A win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18 saw them sneak in.
