The defensive end reached his century of sacks on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons' veteran defensive end Calais Campbell made the 100th sack of his NFL career against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

The 37-year-old has been one of the very best at the position during the course of his career, which started with the Arizona Cardinals back in 2008.

Campbell's single-season sack record was 14.5, set back in 2017 while he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was a season which also included three forced fumbles one of which Campbell returned for a touchdown.

His 100th sack came late in the first half against the Commanders, with Sam Howell looking for a receiver on 2nd & 14.

Campbell becomes the 41st player to reach 100 NFL sacks, joining an illustrious list of all time great defensive players.

The only other players with over 100 sacks who are still playing in the NFL are Aaron Donald (105.5), Justin Houston (112), Cameron Jordan (116.5) and Von Miller (123.5).

The all-time sack leader is former Buffalo Bills and Washington defensive end Bruce Smith, who had an eye-watering 200 sacks in his 19-year career.
