Gus Edwards has been a key part of the Baltimore Ravens offense since his 2018 rookie season, known for his physical running style, which has earned him the nickname 'Gus the Bus'.

During Edwards' five seasons of college football he rushed for 1,690 yards off 350 attempts, scoring 18 touchdowns. He added a further 156 yards receiving, catching 16 passes, one of which he took in for a score.

Edwards became the first Ravens rookie running back since Jamal Lewis to post consecutive 100-yard rushing games during the 2018 season and ended his debut campaign leading the team in rushing with 718 yards and two touchdowns.

A knee injury on the eve of the 2021 season saw him miss the whole campaign, but he would return the following season and in 2023 he posted 810 yards on the ground, making it the most productive season of his career so far.  

What is Gus Edwards' salary? 

Edwards is in the final year of a two-year $9million contract with the Ravens which included a $3.75million signing bonus and $3.75million guaranteed. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2024.
