The Bills are in need of a new wide receiver.

The Bills have had a busy offseason which has seen a number of their older players part ways with the club before Stefon Diggs was traded away to the Texans.

This mini-roster reset means that Buffalo have an important draft ahead of them.

Here’s a look at how things could pan out for the Bills in Detroit this week.

Buffalo Bills draft picks

No. 28 overall (first round)
No. 60 overall (second round)
No. 128 overall (fourth round)
No. 134 overall (fourth round) (compensatory)
No. 144 overall (fifth round) (from Chicago)
No. 160 overall (fifth round) (from Green Bay)
No. 163 overall (fifth round)
No. 200 overall (fifth round)
No. 204 overall (sixth round)
No. 248 overall (seventh round)

Key Needs

The Bills probably needed a wide receiver before they traded away Diggs, so a new playmaker at the position tops their to-do list in Detroit this weekend.

A long-term solution at defensive end is needed as Von Miller enters what could be his final year with the Bills and the departures of Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde mean a safety is also required.

Predictions

With 10 draft picks, the Bills could be in a position to move up the board and put themselves in the running for Rome Odunze, should he not go in the top 10.

Should they stick at 28 however, Adonai Mitchell or Brian Thomas Jr. could still be available and would likely be the choice.

Attention could turn to the defensive line in round two, with Braden Fiske a potential selection at pick number 60.

Day three should see the Bills look at options in the secondary, while offensive line depth can also be addressed.
