The Buffalo Bills have added some much-needed help to their wide receiver room.

The high-profile departure of Stefon Diggs who was traded to the Houston Texans, plus the exit of Gabe Davis in free agency left the Bills in need of bodies at the position.

Keon Coleman was drafted by the Bills in the second round of last month’s NFL Draft, but the team have now picked up veteran wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who they hope will also be able to bring a winning mentality to Buffalo.

Valdes-Scantling is set to sign a one-year, $4.5million deal as per the NFL Network after he left the Kansas City Cheifs as a free agent earlier this year.

The 29-year-old was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2018 and after four seasons at Lambeau Field made the move to the Chiefs, winning Super Bowls in both of his two seasons with the team.

Valdes-Scantling’s arrival gives quarterback Josh Allen a new target that can stretch the field as the Bills look to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1990s, when they lost four straight title games.
